Vicki Haken, MS, RD, CDN, CNSD
Vicki is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist. She began her career working with weight management and eating disordered patients at Brylin Hospital in Buffalo N.Y. She then continued her career as a research dietitian in a coronary artery disease reduction trial. Since moving to New York 15 years ago she has gained extensive experience in medical nutrition therapy specializing in the areas of diabetes, gastrointestinal diseases and pediatrics. She has many years teaching experience as an adjunct professor at Adelphi University, New York University, SUNY Buffalo and Erie Community College. When not seeing clients at Nutrition Energy, she is assessing and counseling cancer patients in the Radiation Oncology Department at NY Methodist Hospital.

- New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist

SPORTS AND PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Vicki enjoys taking a variety of classes at the gym as well as weight training. Speed walking around Prospect or Central park with her friends is another favorite activity. When not spending time with her husband and daughter, Vicki enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and volunteering.

Vicki takes a very individual approach to optimal nutrition. She encourages each client to discover the connection between their lifestyle, food choices and nutrition goals. Working together you’ll strategize how to make better choices depending on your body’s needs and customize a nutrition plan that’s right for you.
