Limor Baum, MS, RD
Limor Baum is a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Nutrition Education. Limor uses whole foods, herbs and spices to treat clients based on their unique body composition, medical history, food sensitivities and lifestyle. Limor’s nutrition counseling is designed to maximize wellness by combining an understanding of biochemistry and nutritional science with human behavior and traditional healing modalities.
Limor specializes in eating disorders, women’s health, gastrointestinal disorders, autoimmunity and weight management. She has extensive experience through her work at the Jewish Home and Hospital, Rockefeller University, La Palestra Center for Preventive Medicine, and Cornell University Cooperative Extension. She has taught nutrition and given cooking demonstrations at numerous venues, including schools, hospitals and wellness centers. Limor has also conducted private supermarket tours to help clients make smart choices and better navigate the increasingly complicated food environment.

SPORT AND PERSONAL INTERESTS:
A fascination with nature and harmonious living has driven Limor to immerse herself in the exploration of alternative views of medicine, particularly ayurveda, yoga and Chinese medicine. She has spent considerable time in India and Guatemala learning these profound practices and she continues her education in New York. When she is not talking nutrition, you can find Limor on the yoga mat, enjoying cultural events, entertaining good friends with dinner, or planning her next big trip abroad.

Few things have the potential to so powerfully change our physical, mental and emotional states as the food we eat. By fully understanding clients’ special needs, Limor crafts step-by-step nutrition and fitness plans that incorporate all food groups in their most natural form. Through education and coaching, Limor helps clients reach their goals, eat healthy and make positive lifestyle choices. By sharing health tips and recipes, Limor continually motivates clients until they have successfully integrated the plan into their day-to-day life and are fully satisfied with the results.
