Kristin Greenspan, MS, RD, CDN
Kristin is a Registered Dietitian and New York State Certified Dietitian Nutritionist. She has extensive experience as a nutrition counselor in a private practice setting and provides nutrition intervention for adults and adolescents with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, eating disorders and weight loss/weight management. She has experience working as a personal trainer and is well versed in nutrition for sport and exercise. Kristin also actively works as a corporate consultant conducting wellness seminars and participating in health fairs. Previously, she worked as a Clinical Nutritionist at New York Presbyterian Hospital and was also an adjunct lecturer for the School of Health Science at Hunter College.

SPORTS AND PERSONAL INTERESTS:
Physical activity plays an integral role in Kristin’s life. She enjoys taking spinning classes, weight training, and long walks in Central Park . Always having been interested in both nutrition and exercise science, Kristin worked as a personal trainer prior to becoming a Dietitian/Nutritionist, and continues to use these skills to challenge her personal workouts as well as to aid her clients in increasing their activity level.
PHILOSOPHY:
Kristin takes a very individual approach to nutrition counseling. She sets realistic and obtainable goals for you, with the intention of creating sustainable changes that will last a lifetime. Kristin takes a “nondiet” approach to weight control by focusing on the health benefits of making good food choices. She enjoys teaching her clients how to achieve their goals without deprivation or elimination of their favorite foods.
